Reading Reflection
Paper prototyping: Chapter 1 by Carolyn Snyder
This article talks about something I am very familiar with since I learned a lot about it during my undergrad. Therefore, I will talk about my experience with paper prototyping and how I felt about these experiences. I did several projects related to interactive design, and I would say paper prototyping is great for designing the pages or interaction, but in terms of user experience, I think there are some drawbacks. Since most paper prototypes do not have details and design elements like types and colors, it does not show users the full experience, and that can often lead to users giving feedback that does not necessarily align with the final results. Therefore, what I also learned during my undergrad is that multiple user testing is crucial during different stages of design and development.
